I was looking through the recipes that I have posted thus far, I realized that I am a chicken junkie....sorry, folks...I just can't get enough chicken! Bwak, bwak, bwak!
I am not sure where this recipe came from. I found an easy recipe for BBQ sauce that someone put on top of their meatloaf. This recipe can also be used to glaze/marinate any of your favorite meats.
When my mom made sloppy joes, she would ask, "Do you want them Italian or Mexican style?" Then I got this great idea...why not BBQ style? This recipe is very easy...give it a try!
BBQ Sloppy Joes
(4x6 printable recipe) (full page recipe)1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
1-8 oz. can tomato sauce
3 T. apple cider vinegar (any vinegar works, but I love apple cider!)
1/2 t. chili powder (add more if you want it spicy!)
1/8 t. onion powder (can saute 1 small chopped onion in with ground beef)
1/2 t. dry mustard (I've also used wet mustard, Dijon, spicy brown, etc.)
Combine all ingredients in the cooked ground beef. Cook until thickened to desired consistency. Serve warm with buns.
