I never buy them b...Oh, I LOVE sun dried tomatoes! I never buy them because they're so freaking expensive, but I got a used dehydrator machine this summer and dried about a bushel of tomatoes over the last couple of months. So good, and such powerful flavor. We mostly chop them small and put them in our fresh pasta with a tiny bit of butter, but I have also sprinkled them in cheese quesadillas a few times. I'd like to try putting them in a loaf of bread, and I'll bet they'd be killer in polenta.
