Walmart Gift Card Winner!

Wow.

Who would have thought the list of back to school supplies would be endless?

Back in the day, all I had to buy was new clothes for school.  I remember sitting at my desk on the first day of school and the teacher would proudly give each student a new box of crayons, scissors, glue, pencils and a pink rubber eraser.

Now, it is common for parents to provide Kleenex, hand sanitizer, binders, folders, paper, markers, and

*gasp*

their own crayons!

Now, one of my lucky readers will have a $25 Walmart gift card to help them out with their back to school shopping...and don't forget to clip those box tops!

Drum roll....

Holy cow!  Is this what they need for first grade?

Congratulations, Amanda!  Look for an email from me real soon...

Thanks to Walmart, General Mills and MyBlogSpark for providing the $25 gift card for this giveaway!

  2. When they get older, they just tack it on the "school fees." I wish all I had to buy was hand sanitizer and tissues and such. Instead, my son's fees come to $267...not including a tux for choir!

  3. Tonya, I'd forgotten all about secondary school fees! Right now, I'm in the throes of a son attending college this fall ... holy moly ... the textbook costs are outrageous!

My son found a clearance tux for choir at the tux rental place for $30 and used his black church pants. He then used this tux ensemble for all of his formal dance pictures. Good luck!
