5 My Stash...

Occasionally, I will go out of town on business for a few days.

During one of those trips, my husband sent me a text:

"I found your stash!"

"Huh?"  I texted back.

"The cookies in the nightstand..."

There is only one store-bought cookie that I will ever buy....

and it's Oreos.

Two days later, this cartoon appeared in the newspaper...

  1. In the nightstand? You're a genius, I'm going to have to try that. My stash is usually at work, where nobody can touch it but me!

  2. My husband has learned to stash for me. He'll hide chocolate in his suit coat pocket or something and when I'm having a bad day he'll tell me where to find it! What a wonderful man, huh?

Agreed about Oreos. I don't like any other store-bought or hard cookie either. But with peanut butter and soaked in milk--ah! And did you see this post on Picky Palate? I think I need to vow never to make it or I'll be an addict! http://picky-palate.com/2011/03/10/cookies-and-cream-peanut-butter-midnight-snack/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+PickyPalate+%28Picky+Palate%29

  3. Jennifer, that is sweet! I looked up PP's post....I'm in deep trouble...

  4. Last night the detectives, my kids, knew I had baked cookies during the day. They had seen the plate that I had photographed them on and were dieing to get some. My 16 year old had gone through every cupboard in the kitchen except the one that they were hidden in, or so he told me! I think every mom or woman needs a stash. Now I need to get a new hiding place! Joni

  5. I am not limited to 1 stash. I have multiple hiding places. I always say...when I die my husband will wonder why that bag of M&M's were in my closet under my sweaters. ;)
