46 Harmon's Giveaway! ****CLOSED****

Guess what?

Harmons Grocery opened a new store!

Yep, you heard right.  There is a new store in Farmington and all the people in Farmington are rejoicing!

With 14 stores and two more to open soon,  you may be wondering what the big deal is.

Well, I'll tell you what the big deal is.

This family run grocery store with humble beginnings as a fruit stand in 1932,  has slowly grown into a several supermarkets with emphasis on integrity, community, tradition, innovation and quality.

Bob and Randy Harmon gave a few Utah food bloggers a backstage tour of their newest store.

First stop?  Coffee, cappucino, gelato or pastries.  A great way to start your morning!

Yes, it is permissible to have gelato for breakfast.  Because I said so.

Sticky buns, anyone?

Everything here at Harmons is made FRESH.  No preservatives, additives are allowed.

Breads are baked fresh daily with organic wheat flour grown in Utah and ground at Lehi Roller Mills (Yes, the same mill featured in the movie Footloose!)

Hungry for a deli sandwich?  Your sandwich is made fresh YOUR way, with freshly baked artisan breads...

Speaking of bread, my favorite is the White Chocolate Pecan.  Can you say Carmelized?

If you haven't tried it, you must hurry over and request a sample.  Stat.

Once you do, you will be compelled to buy four loaves, take them home and eat them all...

Still hungry?  You can get single portions of lasagne, quiche and other yummy meals.  Just heat and eat!

Ready for dessert?  Hold on to your shorts....

Everything here is made with fresh butter.  No shortening or artificial flavors.

My favorite?  Peanut butter and chocolate cupcakes.  A marriage made in heaven.

The seafood is fresh.  Sockeye, Cohe, King and farm raised salmon are caught and flown in the next morning.  Never frozen.  They will steam the shrimp for you, so it is ready to eat with their own freshly made cocktail sauce.  Seriously, this is so good!

If you ever need to know the best way to cook a certain cut of meat, just ask!  The people that work at Harmons are well trained, restaurant food certified and educated about their products.  All natural meat, no fillers or steroids,  is  trimmed, ground and prepared on site.

Years ago, their pineapple was sent by boat, which took 28 days.

Now it is picked ripe and flown in by jet.

Look at this cute baby pineapple!       Don't worry, they have regular pineapple, too.

Harmons proudly carries over 300 products from local businesses.

Can you tell which adjective I used in this post over and over?  It's a big deal, ya know...

FRESH!!

As Bob Harmon says, "It's only fresh once!"
